• Fluent Dutch and English, is conversant in German and French.
• Reached an altitude of 8550m. on the North Side of Mt. Everest and summitted on Cho You (8201m.). Few managers/investors can claim to have had their feet on the ground whilst at 28.000 feet.
• Steven and his wife Joke set up Max Foundation (maxfoundation.org) to let something positive come from the loss of their son, Max. Part of Potosi's proceeds goes to Max Foundation.

• MBA form RSM Erasmus University, advanced management program at INSEAD and a master’s in chemical engineering and Process Control from Delft University of Technology. Recently completed the supervisory board program at Nyenrode University.
• Experienced in leading companies in the area of industrial automation, civil construction and design & construct of high and mid voltage stations.
• Seed investment and startup support of Hardt Hyperloop and Ubiops.com ( Ai).
• Runs ultra trails and knows how to manage and balance energy, flexibility, change of course and surprises also when it gets tough.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
